Thanks we had a incredible experience on Bill's land. Being our first time to hunt Turkey Creek, we were not sure what to expect. Now after hunting with Turkey Creek, you can bet we will make this a standing reservation from year to year, in fact we are trying to find time to bring back our kids for a hunt. Sue's apartment was great accommodations as well, Thanks.

Bill & Peggy were outstanding hosts. They made us this great lunch which we didn't expect. We shared some family history, stories, and found out a little about Bill & Peggy as well. I think they had a taste of how much we like to harass one another. In fact I think Bill got the best of a couple guys when he told them the meat he was grilling was possum & squirrel. Not much was eaten until he let them know it was Mutton. He also had a laugh about the Labradoodle (ask him about that one).

The land and cover it provided was excellent habitat for the birds. The wild flying birds made for a perfect hunt. We were only a couple birds short of our limits, but not for the lack of birds only the lack of shooting. The dogs were awesome, you don't know how many birds would have been walked over or lost if it weren't for the dogs. They found down birds in some of the toughest cover, and water slough that were overflowing. Once again no birds were lost. The land was also very well set up for those hot days, with plenty of water ways. Our black labs had several water breaks and did some swimming to stay cool, another reason the dogs worked so well having the water available.

Everyone had a terrific time, and everlasting memories we made. I was able to take over 200 pictures, and make a great photo album for the guys. I will give you a call when we find out the kids schedules as they are going through basketball tryouts now, to find out if you have another date available late Dec.
